I turned around...

... and a great branch had fallen off the plum.  We had been planning on cutting it back, but now it just needs tidying up.

Planning a new bed at the front of the house


Lilacs 'Microphylla Superba', roses 'Wild Edric', azaleas 'Strawberry Ice', potentillas 'Abbotswood'.  All rabbit-resistant, I hope.  Climbers (clematis 'Montana' and honeysuckles) in tubes.
